Annual Shrine
Clothe-A-Child Tournament |
The Mohave Shrine Club is now
preparing for it's Annual Clothe-A-Child charity event. It begins with our Swede
Johnson Memorial Clothe-A-Child Golf Tournament. Each year the
Shrine Club takes needy children to a local major retailer and assists
them in purchasing $100 in much-needed clothing and shoes. These
children are identified by the local school nurses and are referred to the
Mohave Shrine Club prior to Christmas. Our actual Clothe-A-Child
event takes place in mid-December each year, and in 2006 we were able to
provide new clothing to more than 100 children.
We are again asking for your support in
donations of cash or prizes for this worthwhile and much needed program.
There are no administrative or overhead costs and the funds collected for
this tournament go directly to supporting needy children in the Bullhead
City, Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley area. Your contributions are tax
deductible.
